We will be distributing donated books to the families so that your children can hand deliver them into the classroom. Well done everyone! I’ll keep you posted as soon as the books arrive (within 2-3 weeks).

  7. PEACE SIGN CONTEST  In honour of the International Day of Peace, the Upper Elementary students embarked on a “Peace Design” contest.  The winners, one from each grade level, would have their designs turned into templates for t-shirt printing.  The results are in!  We would like to thank the Lower Elementary children who did a wonderful job at judging and deciding on the winning designs.  Congratulations:  Elliot Deveau, Arthur Akbulatov, Talia Morfopoulos and Kaden Morfopoulos.  If your child would like a t-shirt printed with a winning peace design of their choice please bring in a slightly worn, clean, light coloured t-shirt from home during the week of Oct.11th-14th.  In turn, the Upper Elementary class will kindly receive donations towards their fundraising efforts.  Thank you for your support!  The Oak Room.
  8. WITCHES & WIZARDS DAY  Out of Uniform day is scheduled for Fri, Oct 28th.  Reminder to parents that a full costume is not necessary or expected as we know that many children have had their costumes organized since last Halloween.  A witches or wizards hat, wand, cape or even just a black and/or orange clothing item would be more than suitable to participate in this day.  Please remember – no masks or anything that alters your child’s facial appearance.
