All

  1. MEMORY BOOK SALES Reminder that Memory Books are on sale this week at the front office. The cost is $48 and deadline to place your order and submit payment is tomorrow Fri, June 15th. If you would like a Memory Book for the 2017-18 year please remember to place your order as we only order the exact amount required so extras will not be available.
  2. MOVING UP AND GRADUATION CEREMONY The Moving Up & Graduation Ceremony is for students to symbolically mark the transition from one level of North Star’s program into the next (K to LE, LE to UE and graduates) and will take place on Tues, June 19th. An email with further details was sent directly to those families.
  3. ROAD CLOSURES Attached please find information and detour route for upcoming road closures at Brooksbank Avenue and Keith Road June 21-25. Please note that we will be on Summer Break at this time.
  4. THIRD TERM REPORT CARDS will be distributed on Wed, June 20th.
  5. LAST DAY OF SCHOOL is Wed, June 20th. Students will be dismissed at 11:30am.
  6. YEAR END PICNIC Our picnic is scheduled for Wed, June 20th from 12:30-2:30pm at Cates Park. Further details and sign-up sheets are posted on the office bulletin board.

Casa

  1. PRESCHOOL FIELDTRIP Reminder that the Preschool students will be going on a fieldtrip to Maplewood Farm on Mon, June 18th.
  2. LAST DAY FOR PM CASA A reminder that the last day for the afternoon Casa students is Tues, June 19th.

Extended-day Kindergarten

  1. AFTER SCHOOL CARE Attached please find the 2018-19 application form. If you would like to register for next year please complete and submit your application to the front office. We have a few spaces left and they will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Elementary

  2. FREE DRESS DAY Our last Free Dress Day of the academic year is Wed, June 20th. Students donate a minimum of $1.00 to their teacher upon entering the classroom first thing in the morning to wear their choice of clothing rather than the school uniform. Students must wear appropriate footwear, clothes must be in good repair and hats are not permitted to be worn inside the classroom.
