  1. MOJA COFFEE FUNDRAISER  Please join us on Mon, Jan 14th for the kick-off to our Moja Coffee Fundraiser.  Maria Wentzel will be providing a fabulous cup of hot coffee to start your day and will also have order forms ready so you can stock up for home!  This is a fundraising effort that directly impacts your child’s classroom.  Coffee bean sales = classroom materials and classroom materials = a prepared and happy learning environment!  Enjoy!
  2. AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS  Attached please find January Registration Forms for Drama, Clay Pottery and Yoga K/1.  At this point we do not have enough registrants to move forward with Drama or Yoga K/1 so if you would like to register your child for either of these After School Programs, please complete the form and return it as soon as possible and no later than tomorrow Fri, Jan 11th.
  3. FREE DRESS DAY  Our next Free Dress Days is tomorrow Fri, Jan 11th.  We continue to raise funds for Debra, an organization that supports children with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).  For a minimum donation of $1.00 (cash only) students will not be required to wear a uniform but be free to choose what they wear to school on each of those days.
  4. FREE FAMILY YOGA CLASS  Attached please find information on Petra’s Free Family Yoga Class this Sat, Jan 12thOnline registration is available up until 10:00am Saturday.
  5. PARENTING & POWER STRUGGLES: A Peaceful Perspective through Choice Theory.  Jill Bodie is completing certification in Choice Theory and Reality Therapy next month and invites you to attend her graduation presentation, “Defending the Dress”.  We all have pictures in our minds of the parents that we wish to be.  Sometimes, despite best efforts, things do not go as planned and everyone goes to bed unhappy.  Jill will tell a story about a parenting experience.  She will relate it in the context of Choice Theory and how things could have been better if she had had an understanding of Choice Theory when her children were very young.  All are welcome.  Wed, Jan 23rd at 8:40am.
  6. GUEST SPEAKER – Margaret Evans will be here on Mon, Jan 28th to discuss the topic of “Food Sensitivity & Learning”.

Casa 

  1. PARENT NIGHT – The Importance of the “Three Year Cycle” for parents of 3&4 year olds and “What Next” The Elementary Years for parents of 5 year olds are both scheduled for Mon, Jan 14th.  Sign-up sheets are posted on the office bulletin board.

  4. K & ELEMENTARY PIZZA LUNCH FUNDRAISER  Our next hot pizza lunch is Fri, Jan 18th.  The pizza money envelopes and order forms will be available at the front office on Mon, Jan 14th and Tues, Jan 15th.

  4. UPPER ELEMENTARY PE  The UE will be going to Academie Duello for PE beginning Tues, Jan 15th.  Please complete the attached Archery Permission Form and Academie Duello Waiver and return by 8:30am before Mon, Jan 14th.
