Weekly Memo April 26

All

  1. 2018-19 TUITION Reminder that our tuition payment cycle begins on May 1st and all payments, post-dated cheques & PAD agreements are due on or before that time.
  2. INFANT & TODDLER Registration is now open for Summer 2018 and Sept 2018-June 2019 sessions. Please feel free to pass along to friends and family!
  3. NSWC POOL GATE A reminder for parents to please keep your children with you in the hallways as well as when you arrive & depart. Now that the weather is better the North Shore Winter Club grounds crews are working which means the gate to the pool may sometimes be open as they bring in their materials. We have reminded them that we have young children coming in and out of our school but ask that parents and caregivers are diligent as well.
  4. OUT OF UNIFORM JEANS DAY Students are invited to wear jeans in support of the BC Children’s Hospital on Thurs, May 3rd. All donations received will be in support of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Extended-day Kindergarten

  1. EXTENDED-DAY PE The Extended-day students will be swimming for PE next week. Please complete and submit the attached permission form on or before Mon, Apr 30th.
  2. PIZZA DAY is Wed, May 2nd for those families that ordered.

Elementary

  1. TRACK MEET VOLUNTEERS If you are able to help out at this year’s track meet on Thur, May 24th please email Jeanne. Please also include the time you are available and if you have First Aid. Thanks so much for your help!
  2. LOWER ELEMENTARY PE The LE students will have track & field for PE next week.
  3. UPPER ELEMENTARY PE The UE students will have track & field for PE next week.
  4. PIZZA DAY is Wed, May 2nd for those families that ordered.
  5. AFTER SCHOOL ART The May session of After School Art begins tomorrow Fri, Apr 27th for those students that registered.
  6. FREE DRESS DAY Our next Free Dress Day is tomorrow Fri, Apr 27th. Students donate a minimum of $1.00 to their teacher upon entering the classroom first thing in the morning to wear their choice of clothing rather than the school uniform. Students must wear appropriate footwear, clothes must be in good repair and hats are not permitted to be worn inside the classroom.
