Parent Social

A lovely time was had by all at this fall’s Parent Social!  This is an evening we always look forward to in getting to know our parent community better.  It’s wonderful to hear about the new children who have joined North Star and how they are settling into their classrooms.  The Casa years are such a magical time and stories of delight from parents who are experiencing their children’s first steps out on their path of lifelong learning is so inspiring! Having children in the elementary classrooms, it was also wonderful to look around the room and see a number of wonderful friends we have made in our time with the school so far.  The remarkable point of the evening for me however, was observing the genuine and heartfelt interest parents were showing for each other’s children.  The phrase “It takes a village to raise a child” came to mind, and for probably the 10th time that day, I felt glad to be part of this school community.
Many thanks to Tiffany and our Board of Directors for hosting a lovely evening.
Wishing you and your children all the best for another inspiring year
