Celebration of Learning – June 2, 2011

The Celebration of Learning is an annual event at North Star. This is an opportunity for parents and other family members to visit the school to celebrate the school year and their child’s successes.

Throughout the evening the Casa children are able to tour their parents around the classroom and show them their work on display as well as how they work with the different materials in the classroom.

Each year the event takes a new form for the Elementary students. The students play an integral role in deciding and planning how they will ‘celebrate’ their year with their families. In the past there have been work displays, group and individual presentations, musical performances and dramatic plays.
